📬 Unread Filter & Smarter Article Management

• 2 min read

A quick but useful update today! We've added an Unread filter and smart article aging to help you stay on top of your feeds without the clutter.

🔘 New: All/Unread Toggle

You'll notice a new toggle in the article header. Switch between All (shows everything) and Unread (hides read articles). Your preference is saved, so it remembers your choice when you return.

Toggle Options:

  • All - Shows all articles (default)
  • Unread - Hides read articles, showing only what's new

Article Aging

Articles older than 30 days are now automatically marked as read. This keeps your unread counts meaningful and prevents old articles from cluttering your queue.

How it works:

  • Runs automatically when you load the reader
  • Only affects articles older than 30 days
  • Keeps unread counts fast and accurate

📊 Real-Time Count Updates

Feed counts in the sidebar now update instantly when you mark articles as read. No more stale numbers - close an article and the count reflects it immediately.

🎨 Cleaner Layout

We've also tidied up the reader layout. The toolbar and articles section now flow together seamlessly, giving the page a cleaner, more integrated look.

These updates are live now for all users. Open the reader and try the new Unread filter!
